YOKO.You only kick once.

For everyone who can’t or doesn’t want to live without the right kick, the good news is: There’s a new and pretty cool street soccer pitch at the Tauernhof!

Here are a few common rules for you:

Each team has four players and up to four substitutes. Substitutes may be substituted on and off as often as they like. The change on the fly applies. When throwing in, the ball is rolled up. Normally there are almost no rules because there is no referee. The two teams must therefore come to an understanding and decide for themselves when a foul has been committed and when not. This is precisely what makes street soccer so appealing, since only playing skills are required and can decide a game.

Participants: Men’s, women’s and mixed teams are allowed

Duration of a game: 2×5 minutes with a change of sides.

Goalie Rules: The goalie may not score a goal. Back pass rule like on the big field..

Penalty Area Rules: Outfield players may not enter the penalty area to attack or defend

Penalty Rules: Penalties apply to the following rule violations:

  • A player from the defending team enters the penalty area.
  • When the back pass rule is violated.
  • In the case of gross foul play in the goal area.

A penalty is executed when a player runs from their own penalty area towards the opposing goal in order to score a goal.

Free Kick Rule: All free kicks are indirect.

Out Balls: Out balls over the goal fence result in a goal kick regardless of who played the ball. No corner! In the case of out balls over the side rails, the ball must be rolled in by hand.

Foul play: For foul play or unsportsmanlike conduct, the following penalties must be agreed upon:

  • Time suspension – A player may be suspended for 2 minutes for infractions. Goals from the opposing team also do not end the penalty prematurely.
  • Match Penalty – The team plays one man down for the remainder of the match.

Match decision: In the event of a tie at the end of regular playing time, the “sudden death” – ie the next goal decides and ends the game. If no decision has been made after 3 minutes of added time, a penalty shoot-out follows in the “sudden death” mode.

Have fun kicking!
